Has anyone used the product Nemaslug? If Yes what do you think of it, does it work? I have lots of slug eggs and small slugs eating everything in my raised beds and in my compost bin.

Have a nice breakfast with a fresh grapefruit as starters. Take out the empty dome and put it on the raised bed. Before dinner lift up and dispose of the nursery of baby slugs hiding below. Next morning repeat. So far I havent lost one plant or spent any money and there is no worrying about my hedgehogs.

Those that have used it say it is very effective against underground slugs.  I am less sure of its effectiveness against surface slugs.  Depends which sort you mainly have, really  :D
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I used it several years ago in my borders at home.  My garden is surrounding by an 8ft wall which is a haven for slugs and I have always struggled to grow anything that's not already established.  The year I used it I was able to grow delphiniums which would previously have been unthinkable so I would say it was successful.  Never tried it on the lottie but I don't have a slug problem there thanks to the open aspect and help from loclal wildlife.

I used it a few years ago in the garden and I found it very effective. I didn't see many slugs in the grden and No big fat ones and I felt sure that the following year the population was down as the nemaslug had wiped out whole nests.

I could see on some of the slugs that died on the surface the place on the back of the 'neck' where it burrowed inthe (blurgh!)
I recomend it in a garden,. but would be expensive on the plot.

Ive been thinking about trying this next year on my potatoes.  Slugs ruin my potato crop every year so i just grow a few first earlies but still get a lot of trouble.  If the Nemaslug works I could grow more later varieties as well.  Dont have a great deal of trouble with surface crops, just pots
