I have a polycarbonate greenhouse and wonder if it's okay to use the candle in this. The greenhouse is on my allotment and the directions say to leave for 12 hours. Will it be safe to leave for that long without me hanging around? I also have some metal staging in there and wonder if it would tarnish these? Does anyone else use these?

I do and the only thing I remove from the greenhouse whilst it is alight is any plants I have in there.
Don't forget to leave the door and windows open after the treatment to ensure any traces of sulpher and other chemicals is removed.

I wouldn’t recommend using one in a polycarbonate greenhouse as you will strip the coating of it.

Thanks for replies. Basically I had an infestation of red spider mite last year so want to kill it off. I've searched on the internet for advice re: polycarbonate tunnel and a sulphur candle but cannot find anything. I also tried calling the number on the tin but there's no answer. I've already washed down the greenhouse but wanted to eradicate anything else left in there to make sure.
