light sussex / Rhode Island

Thinking of getting a couple more hens. Someone  locally has POL light sussex and rhode island reds.  Currently I have a couple of warrens.
How do the sussex and rir compare?  Do get both the same breed or maybe one of each?

Warrens are hybrids and will lay well through their first winter and maybe 2nd one too.  Whereas LS and RIR's are pure breeds, so wont lay as many eggs, and maybe not in the winter, but they will lay for more years.  And they should live longer.

Depends what you want really!
