Very!!

Variety Pack... Pepper (Hot and mild) Caribbean Blend.. Various assorted colours, sizes and shapes. Differing levels of heat from mild to fiery hot will complement a wide range of dishes. I have planted 10 seeds so should be a good selection for my son.

Don't forget at the end of the season to:
A - save seeds from your favourites, the big one from the best plant.
B - Save the best of your favourite plant/s if you have space in the house to overwinter them.  Just cut it down and treat as a normal house plant.

The only problem with saving seed from chilli plants is that they hybridise (is that a word?)
very easily, and you can never be sure of what you are going to get. They are far worse than saving seeds from F1 plants.
If you are growing more than one variety then it would be impossible to guess the resulting crosses, I am aiming to grow 58 varieties this year, and although I save seeds from almost everything else I buy, I do buy fresh seed every year for chilli peppers.

I would love to overwinter mine but my OH wont allow it! She says she doesn't want to live in a nursery! LOL.

I have heard of many plants that have been going for more than 10 years.

I think they start to loose vigour after a few years but if they are fruiting well I keep them.  You can get some very ornimental varieties with the small fruits turing from green to yellow to red but you need to sew a few varieties to see what heat suits you first.

Good to hear this as I had a hard time getting chic tabs started but this year I have one that has done well and it starting to put on new growth. Would be nice to see it do a bit better ;)
