More or less. Is that near Birmigham where you are? You play as you like then.

Indoors does not mean your living room, especially with cabbage, do not forget.

What variety is it?

Whatever you do, don't grow indoors - that is as in "house" indoors. Brassicas hate warmth and you'll end up with leggy plants. A cool greenhouse or cold frame is "indoors" enough for them.

I've never planted out any brassicas under cover, I really don't think all this extra effort is worth it, things mostly catch up, even if they are a couple of weeks behind, from a couple of months head start.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

That's 'in Coldfield' then, I was thinking of, maybe. Not that much then.

All right, I mixed it up with Sutton-in-Coldfield. Happens.

Not that easy play then, don't know the variety, but most should take the going if grown outdoors/ish from start. Cold frame. probably not now. I would prefer sowing when this blizzard spell has gone.

Then, they will take the frosts easily, if grown out like that.
