Beetroot question
« on: August 25, 2011, 14:50 »
I am just digging some beetroot up to pickle and have noticed that there are some "White" beetroot in with them. The leaves are green . Can anyone tell me what they might be. I have dug them up and they look like beet but White! Also how long can I leave the beet in the ground for? Many thanks.

You can get white beetroot as well as pink, yellow and striped, so it's just mixed up seed  ::)
