only clip one wing not both, and then after they moult do the other side. The idea of wing clipping (which I never bother doing) is to unbalance them so they struggle to fly  :)

8 lengths of 25mm X 38mm wood and a roll of 1cm X 1cm square chicken wire bought and ready to go tomorrow! ;)
