Have just tried the first of our second earlies.  We grew Edgecote Purple and they looked like giant purple kidney beans!   Baked them as jacket potatoes and they were superb with a wonderful flavour and texture.  To be honest they look a bit too big to boil, but will try other cooking methods and see how we get on.

Much better than the Tuskar first earlies - bit bland.
