Hi everyone

I'm about to start my second year on the allotment and am looking to try out a few different varieties.

I did well with my desiree crop last year and thought i'd have a go at something else.

Does anyone know of a supplier of Purple Majesty seed potatoes? They have purple skins and purple flesh.

If you want purple, try salad blue.  I know it's not purple but it is different and the kids will love it.    Cheers,   Tony.

Ace there is no offical seed that you can buy this year but if you pop down to a supermarket you could maybe buy some and try to grow them.

Normally I would not recommend this but I know where they have been grown and the potatoes will all be of a high health status.

DD my HBR were much redder inside and where a much darker colour when mashed.My son cheered when he saw them on his plate

My lot wouldn't have known if they'd got their eyes shut.

I can think of a lot of varieties I can grow with better yield that will get eaten though.
