Granex/sweet onions

Are there seeds/sets of sweet onion available in the UK? Can they be successfully grown in the UK?

I really like Vidalia onions and would like to grow something similar if possible (I'm aware that Vidalia onions aren't Vidalia onions unless grown in GA).

I don't know about Granex but I'm growing Walla Walla onions, another famous American sweet onion, I got my seeds from e-bay.

I've never used Seeds-by-Size so I don't know what they are like, but they sell Yellow Granex Hybrid F1 seeds  http://www.seeds-by-size.co.uk/onion98.html - you'll need to scroll right down the page to just above "True Shallots".  Hope that helps  :)
