Sweet corn after onions?
« on: June 27, 2015, 12:14 »
I've just lifted my autumn planted onions which are looking great. In sight for space and have sweet corn desperate to go in. Can I plant straight into my now free onion patch? ???

Yes you can. Sweetcorn do like a bit of oomph in the soil though, so some rotted manure, compost or even chicken manure pellets would help it on its way.

My understanding is that sweetcorn can follow any other crop. But agree with sunshineband  they will appreciate anything to boost fertility depending on your views even some growmore could help.
