1) Plant rows further apart.
2) Rotate cultivation areas for the first time ever - properly that is.

Eat what I grow

Hmm - where does that leave the dandelions and buttercups .....

1)  Grow carrots under mesh for the first time to keep the cook happy and to prove that I can grow them like Sainsburys!

2)  Cut my finger nails BEFORE I do any compost or soil related tasks. So much easier that way!
I`m left handed, what`s your excuse?

1 learn how to grow tomatoes
2 harvest peas, mange toute and french beans when they are ready then freeze rather than letting them get "past it" then wasting them.

1) Grow LESS e.g. throw away weak seedlings, and
2) Plant successionally with greater spacings.

I like yours, plotment26!

1) Do things when they need doing, not when I think I'm going to have some spare time
2) Sow and plant in succession

1) Grow carrots under mesh.
2) Keep better records, including type / supplier of seeds and not just time and place of planting.

1.  Reorganise plot so I can sort my crop rotation out better.
2.  Learn from previous years mistakes without getting complacent with the crops that have previously worked brilliantly.

I need to make more effort to stop my DH  from picking all the sweetcorn on one day before it is ripe. (He has done this for the last two years to stop the squirrels from eating it, but we could not eat it either. I haven't forgiven him yet.)

Make more effort to keep the sprouts, cabbages and peas well netted to stop the pigeons eating the lot.
Sometimes it sags or gets holes and I don't notice in time.
