Suitable broody cage?
« on: March 01, 2011, 13:04 »
Hi
Is this a suitable broody cage, I made it last year and it sits about 5 inches off the ground?
My banty is into her 4th day of being broody, last year it lasted 9 weeks.
As you can see from the pictures she is still sitting.
I put her back into the coop at night for safety but she just broods on the floor.

1 Hubby, 2 children, 2 Welsummers, 1 Leghorn Banty, 1 Wyandotte Banty, 1 Barnevelder, 2 Isa Brown, 1 Rhode Island, 1 Goldline,1 Maran, 2 Mottled Leghorns, 1 Leghorn cockerel & 2 Jack Russells
