They weren't happy poots this morning, there's one missing from the photo, she was giving Jules a right telling off, right in his ear because she was sitting on his shoulder

and so do I
Poots are my favourite breed of bantam, they are pretty, chatty and so friendly.
I would recommend Poots for anybody who has a nice garden and doesn't want it damaging (the long feathers on their feet helps stop them digging the plants up), if you aren't too bothered about lots of eggs or if you want the prettiest, friendliest birds going  :)
They are also classed as a rare breed so we need to keep them going
Staffies are softer than you think.

Are the cockerels really noisy Joyfull ?

The one at the farm never shuts up but I wondered if that was because all the trios are in separate runs in the same field.

they aren't too bad - you know you have cockerels but it really isn't very loud just quite high pitched. They do try to compete with the big boys though when they start to crow and even with an owl early this morning  ::) .  My boys aren't quite as tame as the girls - they don't mind being handled but won't fly up onto your head. I would like to get some more girls in the spring - maybe two more  :)

Are they flighty?  Cos if they can land on your head they could probably get over my 6 ft fence.
