Hi all iv just brought 3 bulbs from our favourite shope wilkos  £1.99!Which is cheap compared to what i have seen problem is that it doesnt say what type it is,will i be okay to plant them out now or would you  leave it a while!Thanks

Wilkos are usually quite good at seasons.  I'd treat them as an autumn planting variety.

I planted some wilkos garlic 16 days ago and it is 3" high now.

Unfortunately Wilko's does not name it's variety.. but the ones I bought are labelled for  Autumn planting...

Mine had a name on but the label is at the lotty so cannot tell you what it said, maybe it was just latin for garlic, wil have a look when I remember.

Allium Sativum.. thats what was on mine...

I've just bought some from the garlic farm on the Isle of White and they say to plant now

I bought some from Wilkos last year & it turned out to be a hard neck variety if it helps.
It was also labelled allium sativum.
