slept in this morning cos power cut stopped my alarm clock, I FLEW out of bed and downstairs..both incies were at 22C      6/8 have hatched, but cold and wet, and huddled together.  Dunno how it will affect them, and whether it will ruin the other eggs, due to hatch NEXT weekend. I am gutted, but fingers crossed eh?

It was on at 1am, but then I slept in til nearly 9 with no alarm to wake me, so anything up to 8 hours. The incies are in my d.room, so not a cold place, and they werent opened, but they lost heat down from 37.5 to 20's  so it must have been off quite a while.

hopefully they should be ok - I have had a broody off eggs for hours when she got shut out.

8/8 hatched, 1 with SEVERE umbilical hernia, so 'PTS', 7 warm fluffy bubs, 2 hens, 5 cocks. I just have to hope the eggs that are at 13 days are ok too.

This clutch are all Cream legbars ( 2 girlies, 5 cocks) but next weekends' clutch are various colour silkies, and more cream legbars.

Have sold EVERY SINGLE EGG in the house now, so will have to save some for next hatch....might buy in something interesting  . No sign of any silbar eggs as yet

Fingers crossed for a good hatch, I will keep a look out for silbars for you as well. I have decided to give up breeding araus and now just want black coloured hens regardless of breed
