I have 19 eggs in the incy, 9 Lavender and 10 red-black Araucanas.  And they're hatching!  We have (so far) 4 lavenders, 3 red-blacks and a black (?), with 5 more pipping!  And they wont have been in the incy for 3 weeks until half past two this afternoon  Piccys below!

Lovely pics  We have 2 Araucana chicks that are the Lavender colour they are lovely and their wing feathers seem to be feathering up very quickly compared to the other chicks, they are only a few days old!

Do you know what age you can sex the Araucana's? And how? lol

I bet its lovely seeing them hatch and so exciting!!

we have some that are 4 weeks old, but at 2 weeks it was the most obvious by the comb - the boys' is much much bigger and redder, and some of the girls have very small combs.  The ones we cant decide on have large comb but it is paler - I dont know!
The one on the left here we think is a girl, and the one in the middle is a boy.  The one on the right may be a boy but the comb is a lot smaller.    Will just have to wait until 6 weeks, then i should be able to tell by comb colour  I hope!

Lol they dont make it easy do they, they should hatch with a little stamp on their bottoms F or M   Would make things a lot easier although take away the fun of guessing  

When my 2 Araucana's are 2 weeks old Ill post some pics and we can have some guessing lol
