Child's small business & the LAW?

I would agree that it's unlikely that the tax man would be interested. However just in case. Keep ALL receipts for anything to do with the chickens. e.g. house, feeders, drinkers, pellets corn, purchase of new egg boxes etc. I should think that it will be a very long time before she will be in real profit in the tax mans eyes. It's lovely to see an enterprising young person. Well done for encouraging her.
