I'm forever picking them when I'm working on the allotment ;).  I always wondered why there wasn't any to harvest by the end of the day

They state that the plants are shipped direct from the manufacturer, (I'm assuming in this case supplier!), which will be T & M.

Not sure what the postage costs will be, but the initial price is higher.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Don't know who the supplier is but T & M were out of stock when I checked last week.  All I can say they are good quality plants with plenty of root - they are supplied' bare root'   When planted out they show signs of new growth within a couple of days.

DD the postage is £2.50 - you can have them now or wait till Autumn from T & M

I've got masses of them running everywhere on the plot.

I'm not supposed to propagate them, but they're doing it themselves!

DD Just checked on the price - they are 99p cheaper than T & M for 12 plants, but that won't bother you with all those runners.  Mmmm should you cut them off or let them grow - that is the question.

According to T & M I need a licence to propagate them, so I'll cut them off and throw them away into a small hole.

I bought some from irresistable from T&M last Autumn and they are just beginning to produce. The early couple weren't particularly sweet but they were very juicy.  Most recent ones seem to be sweeter too.  Certainly the tastiest variety I have grown; courtesy of you good people on this board when I enquired last year.

It looks like Van Meuwen are the cheapest suppliers if you're not buying too many. They're asking £8.99 for 12 bare rooted, plus £3.95 P&P. But the T&M offer for 30 plants at £19.99 + £4.45 is a bargain if you're buying a lot. Think I could cram 30 into a 4' X 8' bed?
