need help with watering tomatoes. failed badly last year with toms in my greenhouse and feel it might be down to watering. some say water on morning some at night. some say 1/2 pint per plant some say more. so advice on right time and how much . i am thinking of trying ringculture this time which in my mind is a pot in a grow bag.  Is there not an idiots guide to growing toms.

it could have been the soil in your greenhouse being too dry, when im preparing for a new growing season in my greenhouse i drench the soil in my greenhouse with 15-20 buckets of water ,

i grow in ring culture , place the rings in the soil and then water  a watering can of water into each ring , then after about an hour i plant my tomato plants and water them in ,

once i see the yellow flowers on trusses i feed 1/2 strength tomato feed ,

then i water ionce a week and feed once a week ,

i usually water mid week , feed at weekends into the ring culture,
