What medium would you plant this in? I've never had that much luck growing this, thought it might be because I'm using an all-purpose compost?

I have planted some in similar ground to what I use for rosemary - regular garden soil in a stonier part of the garden.  On top of an old path as I recall so drier than most.

First season so can't report other than the cuttings have taken.

Thanks WG....wanted to pot it up so it was near the house......don't want to have to exhaust myself whilst cooking dinner. (The garden is all of 40' long!!!! )
