cats!

Blackbob has it right. I have two cats but they are not allowed outside. They have a playpen in the back garden which they can reach through the catflap. They get fresh air, sunshine and can rip and tear at the wooden frame tosharpen their claws and I collect grass flowers and herbs from around the garden for them. At least they aren't killing wildlife.
Neighbours cats used to be a problem but I just keep the hosepipe handy. They don't hang around. 

i dont like cats andy,but i respect them as a living being.
it's the owners who show scant regard for their cats activities that annoy me.open the door and let them go to kill all sorts of nesting fledglings and their parents.
are these the same people that let their kids out on a morning to create havoc on estates all over the country.

Everytime this topic comes up it ends up in nastiness and personal attacks.  In future I think we'll just delete them before it starts.

And to those who feel this is a restriction of their free speech - I can start charging you for access to the site
