So proud of my little garden today... to go with my tea tonight I had 11 mange tout, 2 sugar snap peas, a radish, a courgette, a carrot and 3 strawberries.  I was so proud in fact I had to shout for my neighbour to come and admire my carrot  :)

My veg growing is clearly on a slightly smaller scale than most of you lot, but I'm still very smiley about it!   ;)

First cucumber, I am so proud not sure anyone is going to be allowed to eat it.
not bad considering the plant had been consigned to the compost twice because I was sure it was dead.
A few broad beans and peas too

2 courgettes and a marrow and various berries which were all eaten by my little helper before we could take a picture.
This growing lark is such good fun

Dug up a short row of first earlies, not sure what variety but they're very bright pink.  Also, had my first ever globe artichoke.  I hadn't realised quite how spiky and painful they are.  After it tried to kill me a few times I just chopped the damn thing in half so I could get the middle bit out.  Tasted nice though.

In other news picked peas, sweet peas and a couple of beetroot from the guy on the plot next door.    Also some mint to have with my fresh peas and new potatoes for tea.  Yum!

Picked my first ever courgette.  Don't actually like courgette but my mum is happy to take any going spare. (I really grew them for her anyway)
