45 garlic heads
52 onions
last of the first bed of peas. (next year I am netting after the pea moth trouble this year.)
strawberries one very very large bowl
alpines another large bowl
and kale
and a hand full of toms  :D

First year of growing in the garden and loved it. So happy to get carrots, lettuce and potatoes yesterday and the peas, beetroot, onions and toms are coming on well. Yey, loving it.  :)

When I  thinned the swede I saved the thinings (about 6in of growth..oops) and used them in a stir fry this evening....they were quite hot..very like rocket once cooked YUM

All ordinary stuff but it tastes nice :)

On the left Rhubarb Raspberry Red and lettuce Chartwell.
 On the right, rhubarb Timperley Early , lettuce All Year Round. The Raspberry Red rhubarb is much better than the Timperley Early
 Pots Premiere, carrots Early Nantes, peas i cant remember :wub:

Finally have something to add to this post  :D  Harvested 2 lettuce, handfull of radish & a big bowl of red gooseberries:



not sure what to do with them, are they ok to eat uncooked, or best in a jam or pie?
New to gardening & growing my own, its a very steep learning curve!

They look really lovely.  I eat loads of mine straight of the bush and they are the yellow sort and dont look half as appetizing as those :)

also some decent sized parmex carrots
lots of flavour and very sweet

Courgettes, raspberries, courgettes, beetroot, courgettes, sugarsnap peas, and of course mustn't forget courgettes (one year I'm sure I'll match supply to demand but I've never got it right yet!)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

These photos are amazing. If anything they give me real inspiration to grow vegetables. Think it's brilliant to have all fresh veggies that you've grown yourself to have to eat with your Sunday roast. Some day that will be me, maybe this time next year!
