Rhubarb plants
« on: August 02, 2009, 19:01 »
Those of you who have read my threads on asparagus beds and strawberry beds know that I have been lucky to get a second plot and am creating some 'permanent' beds.

Strawberry is done, asparagus is being planned and the next one is rhubarb.

Shall I buy some plants now and start the bed or is it better to wait until autumn or spring?  They have some of ebay which work out about £2-3 per plant including p&p.

ive grown 2 plants from seed really successfully this year - sow in Spring though.  I've seed left if you want me to send you some -  means you'd be waiting a while to sow though I reckon.
