« on: July 28, 2009, 21:37 »
Have had the lotty for all of 2 months and this is my first harvest.
Pretty pathetic but I'm proud! :tongue2:
Obviously the chooks gave us the eggies.  :)
We had what Jacob called 'concoction' for tea.

Well done, bet the smile still hasn't left your face  :D

And there's more to come, this is just the start  ;)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Thanks yorkie. :)
Jacob got really excited as he planted the radishes from seeds, and it was a delight to see his face as he realised they had grown.  :)
He still finds it amazing that our hens lay eggs for his breakfast.
My parents have taken Jake away on holiday today and he insisted on talking to the hens on the phone this evening......reasuring them that he would be home soon.
I must have looked a right fool holding the mobile into the hen house.

Well done on your harvest Janet.
What I find amusing is would your son have known if you hadn't put the phome in the hen house?  :) Was it a video call?  :D :D :D
