[The Norfolk Turkey]

Ok, Ive done a bit of homework, and I think its not too late to sow a few bits and pieces. Anyone got any recommendations of what to sow for these crops:
pak choi, carrot, radish, turnip, swede, spring cabbage, spring onion

Also, if anyone knows its way too late to sow any of these I wont be offended if you say so!! (Or indeed surprised!!)

You can still plant most of these, I'd recommend direct seeding. The best carrots here are planted in July as they like heat to germinate and cooler fall temps to mature. Turnips, swede, spring onion and radish are also good to plant now. Its a bit hot for pak choi which will quickly bolt in the heat so wait until later August before seeding.

I am going to be sowing some more late carrots and my spring cabbage in the next couple of week. Checked my carrot packet this weekend and it says into July

I've just sown savoy cabbage, autumn king carrots and more peas oh and beans  :happy:

getyourgardenbymail.co.uk has some decent cabbage seeds and is cheap p&p is 99p doesnt have a huge choice tho .just bought some wheelers delight (i think thats what its called ) cabbage to so now or into july for 29p a packet can also be sown in feb to april for summer so good all round .
