I have pricked out the seedlings from several seed trays into 3 inch pots as recommended but want to sart off more seeds in the now empty trays
Can I use the same potting compost or is it use once only??

Well really I suppose you should use fresh just in case of disease etc, but if your a confirmed skinflint like me then reuse, You could pour boiling water over it to kill any nasties or bake in the oven before reuse. I don't bother, but  I only reuse it twice after that it's bottom of a pot job or dumped in the borders at home.

Use only once to be on the safe side,I put used stuff on the compost heap or put onto beds that you are planting the seedlings/plants into.

I use the compost only once too! tried to use again once but the germination was very poor.I put used compost on the heap or onto the plots where I'll be planting.
