one of my pumpkin plants has white patches on the leaves and i dont know whats wrong with it.HELP!!

Could it have been splashed with water and then scorched in the sun?

If so, take a bit more care over the watering time, and it should be fine

its not that i only water the root and when the sun has gone down so i cant be that hmmm

It does look like scorch marks though. Is it getting the sun focused or reflected onto it.
I had some round scorch marks on the lawn and it took a while to suss out it was caused by reflections from cd`s hung up to scare the local herons.
