Oh I got 2 of the soaker hoses too  ;)

Anything else you would like to admit to before you are found out and you appear in the Daily Telegraph!  :tongue2:
Well I bought 20 soft balls to use on the top of my sticks :D

(although not lightproof, so you'll need to keep them somewhere dark).

Bug*er, I looked at these today but didn't pick any up due to them not being lightproof. Will go back and get a couple. Will have to find a dark place to store them though, garage is no good as it has windows in the side of it. It might sound silly but is the loft a good place to store veg? I know it's a pain going up there to get the veg but at least it's dark.

If your loft is anything like mine then it will be too hot in the summer to store spuds
If at first you don't succeed..... cheat!

I couldn't find the sacks but found the slug traps in the metrocentre, Gateshead. Also got more pots oops

bum  >:( ... any chance we could get my branch's manager to speak with your branch's manager and do a swap? Still plenty of sacks and no slug traps in Glasgow  :D

Not that I condone such behaviour, but a certain someone sitting not a million miles away from my computer right now (ahem) has noticed some Poundland assistants don't notice when a couple of 6-packs or 10-packs of plastic plant pots are slotted into each other at the till. They just get scanned through as one item.

PS. No, I am not a politician...

Personally I don't have a summer potato storage problem.

I don't have any to store. :tongue2:
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I don't think I bought anything else for the garden today  :tongue2:

I asked the cashier and she didn't know anything about the hessian sacks though  :(

Their stock distribution might just be a bit inconsistent. However I have just noticed that the packaging calls them 'Traditional Garden Sacks' and makes no mention of them being hessian. That could explain the blank look...

Plenty of sacks and slug traps in the Southport store this afternoon. You have to look high and low for the slug traps, more higher than low though. (Trying not to sound like Brucie there, alright my loves)I couldn't see them on the shelves, they were actually stacked along the top of the shelving units. Might be going back into Southport tomorrow (Friday) so I don't mind picking up sacks or slug traps for anyone if they want them. Just send me a PM and we can sort it out.

They are just the best aren't they.
I sacrificed 3 of my Arranpilot plants last Sunday for a birthday treat. Smaller than gold balls but when cooked with mint and butter I realised why I grew them. Mmmm
