Added to that the local PCSO is a plot holder so we get plenty of security visits! I do have a lock on my shed , mainly because the local PCSO would help himself to all my tea and coffee in there when I'm absent!

Our site has an eight foot fence all around it,and is bordered by houses on two sides,a kids park on one side and a public path on the other side.We have had the occasional break-in,it's just a sign of the times.I have three padlocks on my door and a metal mesh frame on the inside of the window,i dont keep anything worth more than a tenner in the shed.I believe that the more security you put in place the longer it takes for them to break in.

::)  I'll have to make sure I leave space for a veranda at the front of the shed then...big enough for a menacing rocking chair...

I've just bought a multi head rake hoe and cultivator from Wilko's. There are also two adaptors so you can use other brands' heads with the handle, but without them or the heads, it's pretty useless, and anyone who has their own heads will also have a handle anyway, so I reckon it's pretty safe to leave on the lottie, and easy to hide as well. The heads are easy to carry, although heavier, so I'll take them home.
I demand the right to buy seed of varieties that are not "distinct, uniform and stable".

We have a big padlock on our site gate and a strong lock on our shed.

The lock won't stop people if they really want to get into your shed; they'll just pull the lock off - easy done with some sort of lever arm - and break the wood of shed either side of the lock
