Oh why do I start these long rambling posts then go off for a few days?!!

I bought it because I absolutely love leeks sauted with a little tarragon, and y own were frozen into the bround.

BTW if you really do want to but plants I can REALLY recommend this nursery in Lancashire. The prices on their site are including p&p and the plants are excellent, as are the prices.

The only downside is the administration. There isn't really an ordering process online, so I look through the list, send them an e.mail telling them what I want, then pay with Paypal and its never gone wrong yet. I even bought just 6 caulis last summer because mine all damped off.
