Does anyone use D.T Brown Seeds ?
« on: February 10, 2009, 22:09 »
Are they any good as their prices are more reasonable than T+M and they look o.k.

Whats the germination like ?

Thanks

I think a friend of mine used them and was always pleased.  If I'm thinking of the right company (big IF), their packets are basic but the seed is ok
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

I've had no problems with them.

I think they're actually a subsidary or sister company of Mr. Fothergills.

I've used dt brown seeds for over 10 years.  Germination is always 95-98% in short the most reliable seed I have used.  Between catalog and on-line, the selection is very good to include an organic section, and if you buy out of catalog, you get free trial varieties.

TM I have found to be overpriced and over rated.

all good, used DT for a couple of years.

I also use T&M - mostly when they do their half price sales at the end of the catalogue.
