mine won't be going into the unheated greenhouse until late april at the earliest.  its normally far too cold out there for them as peppers, chillies, aubergines are all warm weather plants

Its actually slightly heated from next doors central heating coming through the wall (its a lean to GH) so its got a bit of warmth to protect from frost, so they should be ok   :D

It's a balancing act bewteen leaving it too long so you don't get a crop ripe, or risking leggy plants. I risk it and planted my seeds at the weekend, indoors on the window cill (in pots actually!) so I can keep a carefful eye on them as they come up. I still have a plant flowering in my heated greenhouse from last year as well!

I'm going to wait till next weekend to grow mine - I'm trying to grow mine solely on my windowsill but it's pretty draughty so don't want them wilting. I've nicely accumulated some Nosegay ones from someone here... looking good.

won't be sowing mine for probs another month, then they will go in a heated propagator at about 21 celcius.
All these moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

In my heated prop, which lives in a unheated greenhouse, I sowed my chinense varieties (Scotch Bonnets and Habaneros) back in mid-November to give them a good start as they take longer from fruiting to ripening, and the other varieties I did early January. Currently the propogator has the following chillis happily growing in it.

2* Apache
2* Black Hungarian
2* Brazilian Starfish
3* Bulgarian Carrot
3* Cherry Bomb
2* Chinese Five Color
2* Habanero Orange
2* Hot Lemon
3* Hungarian Hot Wax
1* Jalapeno Early
2* Joe's Long Cayenne
1* Numex Twilight
3* Red Scotch Bonnet
3* Super Chilli

I also sowed sweet peppers toward the end of January and have the following seedlings nearly ready for potting in to 3inch pots.

2* Golden Bell
2* Mohawk
2* Redskin
2* Mavras

My pepper, sweet banana, planted in Nov has its first pepper. I swear it gets bigger every time I look (at least 3 times a day  ).
