These three I called the "witches" cos they are so bad tempered and do everything together!!
(Munty the 3 of them were sitting on one egg -were mad with with me when I took them off!!)
They are beautiful Auntie - as you know looks can be sooooo deceiving :shock: They are a cross between Austrolorp and Orpington.

They are lovely!! what are they? they look like Houdins or perhaps Silkie cross, lovely colours - your closeup was very small!!!!

yeah sorry about that, i'm still getting the hang on getting photos up here :oops:

we got them from a belgian couple who keep hens locally, i'm not sure what type they are - i think a cross between a new something or other (sorry, that's SO vague) and a bantam something or other...(i guess that's equally vague) :oops: :oops: :oops:

they're really pretty though and have the best 'hair-do's!!

at the moment they're both looking really tatty as they're moulting like crazy, but when i checked them over the other day they both felt prickley as there are so many new feathers coming through!
