thanks for pics egg on legs - yes they do look very very like her.
thats very interesting that you say eggs get lighter as they get older.
i am not sure how old she is, but she's had a problem with egg laying and i thought it may be that she is at the end of her egg production ?????

A few of the new kids on the block, Gary the  Rhode(s  ) Island Red  He is such a sweetie got him by default but love him loads!!
Wellington the Welsummer cockerel, mrs wellie to shy for photo shoots.
Samson and Delilah the new Laced Orpingtons, I hope the chicks grow up to look just like these.  The cock bird is fab and with that long ginger "hair" just had to be called Samson

Here's a pic of my new arrivals about 10 mins after I got them,

Very quiet they have been until they saw the cat !

They are lovely Rich you can see the Rhode in them and they are noisy compared to other birds, but I think the Black Rocks I have take the awards for noise they are terrible

Pleased you got the piccies in.

Whilst I love our cats dearly - there's one of them I wouldn't trust near anything with feathers.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

We don't mind her doing the vermin. The dove was a no-no.

Think I'll take her down the plot to see how she gets on with pigeons.
