Hi everyone, first topic - I decided to try and grow some lettuces in my cold green house. filled an electric propagator with compost and sowed some seed which have just germinated. would it be better to turn the heat off or if I leave it on are they likely to get 'leggy'

Temperature generally won't make them go leggy, thats down to lack of  light. The only problem you may encounter is the lettuce going mouldy, this time of year is very damp. The only lettuce I have grown in winter is the winter little gem and even that was a little eratic.
