How do you protect a greenhouse from frost, just run a heater in there? Or would the plastic lids you get on propagators be fine ?

thanks

I make an inner tent on one side of mine, out of bubble wrap stuff, it insulates very well, then I have the electric heater in there on a frost setting.
The best thing about the electric ones is they move the air around and don't produce water vapour unlike the paraffin ones, mould can be a big problem in the greenhouse over winter.
He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.

You'd never get a lid big enough to go over one - oh - I see what you mean.

Lids over individual trays would offer a bit of protection, but only to a degree, heat would still be needed.

First thing to do is line the inside of the greenhouse with bubble wrap. It's quite cheap on ebay.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?
