When we first came to Scotland we joined a local poultry club....mainly to get in touch with people who kept choox and to get to know what poultry was available in our area.
Anyhoo, we have never shown our birds before ....would'nt know were  to start :?  We had the club secretary come around this morning and he had a good look at the birds and said we should put some of our birds in the forthcoming show. One white leghorn pullet, one black leghorn pullet, an exchequer leghorn cockerel and Blossom, our blue partridge Brahma! I'm really chuffed that he thought our birds so good....especially Blossom!!!...did'nt think she would get a look in 'cos she's about 7 years old now!!!! :D  :D  :D
This chappie was saying he keeps OEG and would we like a trio for £30!!!!...Ermmmmm??? YES!!!!!!....were'nt gonna get anymore but this was a bargain!!!!
ps....Our Dorking cockerel and our Brahma cockerel would have gone into the show as well....if it was'nt for the fact that they had a fight a couple of days ago and look as if they've been in the mincer to play!!!! :(  :(  :?

Being nosey but what are OEG?
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.
