Sorry for all those suffering (or enjoying) snow and bad weather in the northt, here in kent the wind has dropped and now the sun is out Feels a lot warmer than yesterday.

So i'm off to do a bit of pottering on veg plot. Too wet for digging more's the pity as would soon warm me up even more.......

Still cold over here in the west. Warmed up this morning enough to rain, then cooled down again.
Enough rain earlier to make it to wet to dig. I need to dig out paths between my raised beds and just keep having to put it off due to water logging.

Was on Salisbury plain last night and that was very cold.

 3" of snow here in North Yorkshire.  I went to look at the allotment and it looked really good, I couldn't see a weed anywhere!  Came home and had some homemade vegetable soup (all vegetables from the allotment) that had been simmering on the stove.  Now looking out onto white fields from the warmth of my house; I must get out my seeds from the garage and start the plan for 2009.  In case I don't put another message on here before Christmas (it feels like Christmas with all the snow) thanks for all the messages during the year, I/we learn a lot from each other.  Anyway as John said in his newsletter:-
