hello debih

the only realy hardy variety for your area is aquadulce. it wants sowing about the 7th november in your area. i sow mine in a single "v" shaped drill 3" deep at the rate of 1oz to 4ft of row. to try and deter the birds & mice just coat the seed with paraffin oil @ ½ teaspoonful per 8oz of seed. sowing in a single line makes weed control a lot easier i find.hope this is of help to you
