Having got over the embarrasment of having to find Turkey Cock Lane  , took a few piccies in between troughing the free sarnies, bagettes, wraps & crisps.

Most of Mole's seeds are imported, (they said so & it's no great suprise), and these grounds are just trials for new varieties.

They originally started out as flower seed suppliers, but said today that demand for veg seed has outstripped that for flowers.

Anyway, without further ado.........

How many tomatoes on a truss???

Sorry about the quality of this one, I've had to enhance it a bit as I was shooting straight upwards towards the sky, but it was taken to prove that not even the 'experts' always get it right........

BLOSSOM END ROT!!!

They're fabulous piccies, I especially like the close-ups of the dahlias, and the (bolting?) lettuce beds.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

They actually do admit to their mistakes, I suppose that's what trial grounds are about.

I don't think the lettuce have bolted - just reached "that time of life"!

Brilliant photos. I must ask, did you catch the variety of tomato's that had that many flowers on one truss? Looks like a very nice variety to grow myself.

You won't find this particular variety. They are on trial & not in seed catalogues. You may find similar though.
