Re the missus deadheading the bee flowers ..are they california poppies.  I grew some last year and thought well they weren't worth it, dunno what all the fuss was about that I saw on tele about how wonderful and pretty they were, was gonna chuck them out but never got around to it.  Good job cos this year they are lovely and well worth it.  So maybe they take to the second year to look their best.

Garden veg looks absolutely fantastic.  My onions are whoppas this year.  Must of been all the Chicken poo I put in the high rise bed before growing them.

What a great effort.  And the garden looks good too.

One thing I did notice was the hose running up by the carrotts. If you move the hose about much you might run the risk of bopping the carrotts every so often which might get the attention of the dreaded carrot fly.

But you should be well proud of your garden.

Very impressive Phil. No point me posting our photos, we only put our cabbages in last week end so they are rather small.
Well done.  :)

Not sure if this will work!  but here is my garden back on fathers day!  sent this to my dad to say thanks!  He had not only instilled the fun of gardening into me, but also at the age of 75 and year after a fairly serious stroke he built the freebee greenhouse that I was given.  I had been supplied demolised and was acutally a mash of two stuck together!  Iwouldnt have had a clue but him and his wife spent an afternoon in the cornish rain (they refused to come in!) and put it together for me

the bertty beans and runners are now up high and the whole thing looks a lot greener.
just waiting to pull the shallots and harvest my first courgetts of the season

Most of it was through freebees, I work in a plant nursery so any failed crops I collect the compost in sacks and filled the beds with a mix of this and cow manure from my other job, the planks were acquired from my hubbys (might be usefull one day pile!) and the chippings were once a very large conifer that was cut down and chipped at work, just left in a pile to do nothing but collect ivy seeds, so yet more sacks and digging!

I'm quite impressed at how you've turned 'waste' into creative use, wysiwyg. Few people would bother. Very nice result.
