dying peas!

my peas have grown about 4 ft tall and produced peas but now seem to be dying ? a few are going pale yellow and look like they are withering yet the rest are fine

any ideas?

They've done what they set out to do & are now shuffling off this mortal coil!

I'll have to have a think - but you did say in your original post that they had produced peas & that threw me!

I'm not saying it is, but it could be mildew. Late sown peas are prone to this, they prefer temperatures on the cooler side.

Mine are all picked, shelled & a few made it to the freezer. Just got a bare patch of soil now!

You did warn me DD, but the ones on the community garden I planted are doing great guns (as I said to you) but these, aww what a shame

Who's are you talking about DD gbell's of peapod's.

I water my peas about twice a week the ground is very dry here
