First Pics of Plot day after getting keys to site (combination code anyway lol) through to couple of weeks ago

First pic

At least there were no brambles

3 weekends later... all dug by me by hand.. very rewarding

All worth while :)

have harvested first head of my cabbages in foreground, 'grey hound' and some of the earlies in shot... very pleased with the onions so far :)

You can just see my Munty Frame at edge of pic.. set up at end of one of the beds...

Yes, little and often.. used to aim for 6' in a session

I grew up in Essex so digging anything other than london clay is heaven  ;)

I'll be mad with you then Sal as I find digging and weeding very therapeutic. I leave the planting to OH most of the time.
Great looking plot JB - enjoy your produce.  :D

I know what you mean Matron!
After a hard day at work there is nothing more relaxing than going to the plot for an hour or so and weeding by hand.  There is something very calming about it, pulling up the weeds makes me realise how lucky i am to have a plot.  I can't wait until i can pull up something tastier!!!
Won't be long now!!!
Finally got the space, now just nead the girls!!
