Behave Rob !

I don't think there is very much more you can do for her.  Perhaps the worming will help  :)

LOL! Yeah maybe she does as she perked up after seeing vet!!

Hopefully wormer will be here today and I'll get that down her.

Do you know if it is ok to mix the wormer with a bit of water as I am going to have syringe it in as she wont eat?

Ok, will do but from reading your info on worming with Flubenvet, it's a tiny tiny amount ( 0.1g).

A very small amount.

It's about the tip of a veg knife amount.

I estimate the entire course quantity  and put it in a container and divide it by 7 for each days dose.

The entire dose is about 1/5 of a level teaspoon.

The good news is that they will soon be bringing our a formulation and pack size to suit back garden keepers - but that doesn't he;p you just now

That is a brilliant idea, there should be a good market for it.

My husband has scales at his work that measure that small so I should be able to get it pretty accurate. Just to confirm, in total the course will be 0.7g.

Are the consequences bad then if they are over dosed?

Chips is still poor, I think she is eating a little now as her crop felt as tho there is food in it

Oh this morning when I let her out, she had a bit of water come out of her beak......does this mean anything significant? All else if fine, her vent, no bad breath.

Thank you again for your help.
 :D

It's not critical if they are overdosed.  0.1 - 0.2 g per day is fine.

That's quite curious  :?

Are you certain she doesn't have sour crop.   :?:

Feel her crop first thing in the morning before she has had anything to eat or drink.  If there is anything in her crop making it feel a bit squishy they she could have sour crop even if there is no bad breath.  Some anti fungal meds would be needed.

Would sour crop make her very ill? Her crop has been empty until last few days as she wasnt eating. Do I have to get anti fungal meds from vet? I am conscious I have already spent £70 at the vets.....not that I begruge spending it on her.

Sour crop would make her very ill.  Feel her crop in the moring to see if it's squidgy before she's eaten.

If it is sour crop anti fungals would have to be prescribed by a vet.

Her crop was very hard this morning. I'm going to call the vet. It's worth a try.....hopefully he wont have to see her again.

I am determined to get her well again  :D
