Poultrygeist has promised me some raspberries this year in exchange for a bag of chook feed!!!!   So I won't even have to pay the postage on them.  How's that for a result???

Ok i just got mine as well, a triangular shaped plot but still 550 square yards. Picture of She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed with Allotment:




Ive asked for it to be rotovated, then i sort of had a plan to put in some winter brassicas and dig the rest into beds.

I've got some bags of dried Farm Manure from work, but I dont think I'll need it because its been used for grazing horses, so in theory its uncultivated and been manured by horses for the last five years.

What u think? Too late to plant anything ?

well they havent gone very deep at all, just took off the top and a few inches below


should i get my rotavator on there or dig it over roughly by hand first and
then go over it with th rotavator?

got the go ahead thismorning to build my shed so all is good, just got to wait for my old chap to have a spare hour or so  so he can help me and take it there on his trailer
