We have 3 greyhounds if you are desperate, they could pop round.

Have to agree, a supersoaker combined with extra hot chilli powder seems to work
Cheese makes everything better.

Getting rid of cats!

I used to live in cat alley and had every cat in the neighbourhood s*"t in my garden.  I used some of the repellents you can buy in the shops and ones that smelt of garlic worked for a little bit but not for long.  Putting grease along your fences can be a big put off to cats as long as you don't mind looking at big lumps of grease on your fence, they don't like getting it on their paws.  I got one with a watering can full of water once that was quite funny seeing its ears go flat as he got a good soaking.  He steered well clear of me but not my garden.  I used to put old pruned stems of roses all over the place.  I reckon old holly leaves will have the same affect.  It works for a bit until they work out how to move them without getting in their paws.

Make sure you keep your grass mowed because they will take to pooping in long grass too.  Not nice mowing over that!

Probably the best thing to do is cover every inch of soil with plants.  Or get yourself a cat, apparently they don't do it in their own back yard and are territorial and might help keep other cats out.

The one that comes round our garden poop in the plants. There's currently a little cat jobby sat on the leaves of one of our plants.

I'll sneak round the neighbours and plant some catnip in their garden. I think its someone elses turn to be popular.

I was often thinking about scooping it all up and leaving on their doorsteps.  It does make you mad.  It smells so bad when you disturb it and you take so much time to make your garden look nice then a cat comes along and craps on it or scratches up your newly painted fences.

I used to like cats but since living there it left a sour taste in my mouth.

Grosssss.  I always worry about that at work as dogs dodo on the gardens that I tend.  I keep thinking I'll kneel in some or worse put my hand on some.  I think I'd be sick if I did that.

I bet you ran to the nearest tap!

Its funny but looking at Marge she looks like she's done the same thing ha ha

Its not fair that we should have to put up with these sorts of things.  I think they should invent nappies for pets ha ha

OK now don't think me strange but I was talking about urine on a different post and it got me to thinking what uses there are for it.  I found this one.

"If you have problems with the neighbors' cats soiling your garden, the best cure is for the man (testosterone) of the house to catch his first pee in container and empty it out on the targeted area.

Some companies sell pellets made from the urine of carnivorous animals such as mountain lions and bobcats. These pellets are then scattered around the garden so as to deter animals like squirrels and domestic cats from marking territory (which they feel have already been marked by bigger animals) in your garden.

In addition, one part urine to 10 parts water is a great and free way of fertilizing the garden."

Any men out there?  Worth ago?

Oh your going to hate me for this but, we have loads of cats in our allotment we used to have rats, but no more.
I found one great big cat asleep in my greenhouse, much better than a rat.
I'm lost without my SatNav.
