Would putting my little asparagus bed where parsnips were grown last year be ok?  

That parsnip bed is the only bed I can be sure of what was grown there  :?

i did some from seed last year they are still in pots as we are movig to wales 2008 and i don't want anyone to take over my plot and have the aspsragus!! so i was wondering can i put them in bigger pots for this year and leave them then once we've moved plant them out in winter?

yes you can put them in the snips bed but put more manure on it now . and yes you can pot tjhem on into 12 inch x 10 inch deep pots .just dont cut the spears like you would if they had been in the ground .sparragrass roots can go down a good 3ft or more

I grew some from seed - they are doing marvellous and this year will be year 3, so i cant wait to harvest it  

Only problem have had to protect it from next doors cat, who thinks its a toilet !!

make a tunnel of wire from chicken wire .use a bit of water hose to form the hoops and secure using cable ties  girls xx. block ends as well
