ok folks the seeds we are sowing this year are 4 thompson morgan varieties .usual garden conditions apply . if you would like to join in .
the seeds are

adelaide f1 hybrid

amsterdam forcing variety

bangor

carson


1 pack per 16 foot row please in a 1 foot wide seed bed raised above the normal ground level dug to 12 and raised to 18 i inches in well conditioned soil .watered only when needed , ground must  have been manured before this sowing  season no additional fertiliser added please

results required
total wieght of row .size of six biggest  carrots  .wieght of biggest
pest damage if any . general results and own opinion of growing results . and would you grow them again?

you buy them mate sorry . its only our allotment group doing it , we will send results to t & m see if they are interested . last time we did it with suttons they sent us a pack containg a load diffeent seeds  as a present for doing it . if you contact your local sed comp they may also
 we have bayer crops in norwich that do all tha stuff as well ,,, suttons near boston may also , nickersons near grimsby is werth a go  :wink:

not here mate i cant
many small seed companies went out of busines  due to multi jobs ,, incidently my pal injoburg ( ex sa special forces now grows carots for seed only .its a beutiful plac he has i last went 2 yrs back and im planning on going next autumn if i can afford to .w go in the mountains n play .hunting and living out in the bush etc
